How it works
A link shortener that does one thing and stays out of the way.
Paste, shorten, share
Paste a long link on the homepage and you get a short one back, made of characters that are hard to confuse (no 0 and O, no 1 and l), so it survives being read aloud or typed from a poster. The address you pasted is kept exactly as it was, tracking parameters and all.
Other free tools
A bio page puts all your links on one page at linkmint.org/@yourname. You get a private edit link instead of an account. The QR code generator and UTM builder run entirely in your browser and send nothing to us.
Links keep working
A short link doesn't expire and its code is never handed to anyone else. Links can't be edited after they're made: if you need it to point somewhere else, make a new one. That's the trade for having no accounts: there's no way to prove a link is yours.
Check before you click
Put a + in front of any code (for example linkmint.org/+abc12) to see the full destination without going there. Short links hide where they lead, so this is worth knowing about for any you didn't make.
Nothing is tracked
Clicks aren't counted, no cookies are set, and nothing about the person following a link is stored. The privacy page lists exactly what is kept.
Keeping it safe
Anyone can make a link, so anyone can try to misuse one. Links to known bad domains are refused, link creation is rate limited, and anyone can report a link. A link that's disabled after review stops redirecting at once and shows a notice instead.
